Most agencies advertise roles they are not filling for companies they have never met. We only advertise our own. Every vacancy on this site is a real opening inside a Maia Group business, and the person who reads your message is the person who will work with you.

For candidates, that means a real employer at the other end — you can walk into the venue and see it. What we cannot do today is place you with an outside company; that requires an authorisation we do not yet hold, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

Common Questions

Do candidates pay anything?+

Never. Candidates do not pay us anything, at any stage, for any reason. If anyone asks you for money in our name, it is not us.

Can you hire for my company?+

Not today. Recruiting for third-party employers will only be offered once Maia Recruitment holds the Servicio Público de Empleo authorisation required in Colombia, so there is no pricing to quote and nothing to sign. You are welcome to join the employer waitlist, and to use our cost-of-employment calculator in the meantime — it is a general information tool, not legal or tax advice.

How long does your own hiring take?+

For our own vacancies, most processes run 2–4 weeks from first message to a decision. Senior or niche roles take longer — we'd rather take an extra week than hire the wrong person. Either way you get an answer.

What kind of contract do your own hires get?+

A Colombian employment contract under the Código Sustantivo del Trabajo, with the social security and health enrolment that the law requires. The terms, hours and pay are stated on each role page before you apply — no surprises at signing.

Where do candidates come from?+

We source nationally across Colombia — Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena and Santa Marta. For remote and nearshore roles we source from anywhere in Colombia with verified connectivity.

Is Maia Recruitment a separate company from Maia Management?+

No. Maia Recruitment is the talent division of Maia Management Group S.A.S. (NIT 901.862.977-7). It's the same legal entity behind maia-management.com and Maia Legal & Contable — one company, several doors. That's how we keep accountability end-to-end.
