Do candidates pay anything?+

Never. Maia Recruitment is paid by the hiring company. Candidate-side use of the service is — and will always be — free.

What does it cost to hire?+

A placement fee based on the role's seniority and complexity. No retainer up front. You only pay when we successfully place someone, and every placement comes with a 90-day replacement guarantee. Most nearshore hires deliver a 40–60% total-cost-of-employment saving vs. an equivalent US or EU hire.

How fast can you fill a role?+

Most shortlists land within 5 business days. Most placements close within 2–4 weeks. Niche or senior roles can take longer — we'd rather take an extra week than place the wrong person.

How does Colombian compliance work for foreign companies?+

Every placement includes a Colombian employment contract drafted under the Código Sustantivo del Trabajo, social security and health enrolment, payroll structuring, and ongoing compliance — handled in-house by a licensed Colombian attorney and a certified public accountant. The foreign company gets one invoice and zero exposure.

Where do candidates come from?+

We source nationally across Colombia — Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena and Santa Marta. For remote and nearshore roles we source from anywhere in Colombia with verified connectivity.
